Among Icepronav’s international visitors last week was Mr. Knut Rathjen, System Manager at Scandinavia’s power plant specialist BWSC. He met with Icepronav’s IT specialists to ensure full PDMS compatibility for design work that Icepronav will be performing for BWSC. Whilst such work during the 2009 familiarisation phase has been done by Icepronav engineers seconded to BWSC’s offices, the two companies have agreed to increasingly locate design work to Icepronav in Romania.
Whilst ICE is primarily a marine and offshore industry design specialist, design of land based facilities is an important segment of its business. To service clients in the non-marine sector ICE in 2008 acquired 50 PDMS licenses.
