Last month, Chairman and CEO Steinar Draegebo represented ICE Marine Design at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2026, held in Houston, Texas, 4-7 May.
OTC remains one of the offshore energy sector’s leading international events, bringing together operators, contractors, technology providers and engineering specialists from around the world to discuss current challenges, emerging technologies and future project opportunities.
Having been closely involved with the design of about 50 offshore floater projects (FPSOs, FSOs, FSRUs, FLNGs) and having developed its own generic FPSO hull designs, the offshore energy market is of major importance to ICE.
Steinar met with a range of industry stakeholders during the event, including Mr Hu Haijun, Sales & Marketing Director Offshore for SWS, one of China’s most modern shipyards. The meeting was a follow-up from earlier discussions in Shanghai.
