ICE has for a long-time been a preeminent user of Tribon, PDMS and AVEVA Marine software; it currently holds about 250 AVEVA Marine licenses. To stay in the forefront of technological development ICE has embarked on a process of gradually upgrading to AVEVA Everything3D™ (AVEVA E3D™) – AVEVA’s next-generation 3D design platform. So far more than 70 ICE engineers have attended an in-house E3D training program.

Our experience in working with AVEVA Marine has been very positive, so it is a natural step for us to consider an upgrade to AVEVA E3D. Our constant aim is to increase design efficiency,” said Sorin Brazdis, Director of Operations of ICEPRONAV Engineering. “The main benefit we saw with AVEVA E3D was its ability to integrate and directly import point cloud data from our laser scanning operation, which has been essential to meet the requirements for our rapidly growing activity in retrofit design of scrubber and BWT systems onboard a wide range of ships for clients world-wide.”
