The 29th edition of the Nor-Shipping marine industry exhibition took place at the Lillestrøm exhibition centre outside Oslo in early June. With almost 1,000 international exhibitors and about 50,000 visitors, the organizers have declared this tradeshow to be the biggest and best Nor-Shipping week ever. ICE participated as part of the SMI-organized UK pavilion and welcomed this opportunity to again be able to meet customers face-to-face.

ICE’s delegation consisted of Steinar Draegebo, Chairman and CEO, Coen Landa, Business Development Director, and Dragos Totolici, Initial Design Department Manager. ICE’s stand showcased the Group’s range of conceptual and basic designs, with a special emphasis on its newest Zero-emission Service Operation Vessel and its OPV design adapted for Coast Guard customers. In addition to activities at the Exhibition, the ICE delegation participated in a reception at the British Embassy and at a reception hosted by the Japanese Ambassador to Norway.

The picture shows the ICE delegation at the stand, together with Debra Hoelsaether, a marketing specialist who provided part time assistance. In the centre is Jan Dahler Nilsson, a visitor who earlier assisted ICE in its marketing activities in Norway and is now retired.
