With the disruptive C-19 pandemic slowly getting under control, ICE is finally able again to second designers to clients’ offices in different countries. Currently, ICE has experienced engineers providing technical assistance to clients in Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.
Sorin Brazdis Managing Director of ICE’s Romanian subsidiary said:
“As a long-established ship design and engineering company, our normal business model is to perform design work in our own offices. However, from time to time our clients require on-site engineering support services, either as part of a larger service we provide to them or as a stand-alone project. In either case, we can offer shipyards and other clients immediate access to a well-trained resource of ship designers, complete with software and proven project management procedures, as and when needed. Most of our employees are prepared to work abroad for a predetermined time to assist our clients when needed.”

The modern Bucharest International Airport (pictured) has non-stop connections with about 70 international destinations including frequent flights to all major European capitals and to international airline hubs in the Middle East and elsewhere. Several hundred ICE employees have passed through this airport to and from international secondments as far away as in Brazil, Japan, Canada, and the US.
