Recently, DNV Business Assurance conducted a periodic audit of ICE’s Quality Management System (QMS). The audit scope included both ICE’s main design office in Galati, Romania and its Branch Office in Split, Croatia. The audit objective was to assess the organization’s effectiveness in retaining and applying lessons learnt to prevent repetition of any adverse quality issues. The audit findings confirmed that the collection and sharing of lessons learnt is well-structured and operational. The DNV ISO-9001 certificate will now remain valid until 28 July 2025.
Mihaela Bidoae, Quality Manager at ICEPRONAV Engineering, stated:
“Several years ago we started to systematically analyze lessons learnt to fine-tune our system and continuously improve our processes. Going forward, our focus is to simplify our procedures and making them as user-friendly as possible, without reducing their effectiveness and the value they provide to the quality of work performed.”
