As part of the long-standing collaboration between ICE and NAPA, design engineers and department managers from ICE’s Initial Design and Hull & Structure departments will be sharing with NAPA their experience in the practical use of the NAPA STEEL / DESIGNER software modules. Following a training phase in using the latest NAPA STEEL software, ICE will reproduce ship design structures previously developed as part of ICE’s many proprietary ship designs. Appropriate feedback will be then submitted to NAPA to assist in further optimising the software, as appropriate.
Cooperation between ICE and NAPA was recently enhanced as NAPA’s Romanian subsidiary is now leasing office space in ICE’s main office complex in Galati, Romania.
