ICE experienced engineers have recently performed a 3D laser scanning and survey on-board of a very large crude oil tanker (VLCC) – pictured. The scanned areas included: the entire engine room, the funnel and external area adjacent to the funnel. An accurate Point Cloud database export was quickly produced and delivered allowing the Client’s team to start work within a few days after the scanning was completed.
In addition to 3D laser scanning and on-board surveys, ICE also provides complete engineering and design services for scrubber installations and ballast water treatment systems.
