ICE is pleased that the construction and trials of both 72-metre Amherst Islander II and the 99-metre Wolfe Islander IV ferries were successfully completed. The vessels recently sailed from the shipbuilder Damen Shipyards Galati to Constanta, for onwards transportation to Canada onboard a heavy-lift semi-submersible transport vessel.

ICE is proud to have been supporting Serco Canada Marine in this prestigious project by providing yard supervision and testing assistance for the two ferries, built for the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, Canada.

We wish the two ferries success, and we are looking forward to again being of service to Serco on upcoming projects.
