After seven years with the ICE Group, Coen Landa has decided to pursue other interests and has resigned from his position as ICE’s corporate Business Development Director. He has agreed to continue assisting ICE as a consultant, on an ad hoc basis.
Coen, an experienced naval architect, brought with him a wealth of international business experience and many contacts, particularly within the offshore oil & gas industry. Being multi-lingual, Coen helped building ICE’s relationship with customers in Germany and in his native Netherlands. He generated and maintained industry awareness of ICE by visiting customers and representing ICE at trade shows around the world including in Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, Spain, the UAE, the UK and the US. ICE’s important FLNG/FSU conversion contract with Exmar last year – which continues into 2024 – came about thanks to Coen’s business relations and is a fitting finale for his BDD career with ICE.
We wish Coen all the best for the future and look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise, if henceforth only on a limited scale.
