ICE is pleased to be providing expert marine designers to assist several Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) and other companies with naval architect and marine engineering resources. Such assignments include a team of 50 professional engineers, who are now gradually seconded to a defence project extending well into 2026, as well as teams of hand-picked experts to assist customers locally as well as in Italy and the Netherlands on  contracts that are expected to grow. One expanding FPSO contract, for a customer who for competitive reasons cannot be named, is expected to require key ICE staff to be based in Asia for more than a year.

Commenting on such assignments, Sorin Brazdis, Managing Director of ICEPRONAV Engineering SRL, said:

Whilst we primarily undertake design and engineering work in our own offices, we are always happy to assist clients with temporary secondments to their site if we have the right people available. It gives our employees exposure to a wider range of work and  professional growth experiences than what they would otherwise have, and that may later benefit our other projects when they return to our own offices as part of our in-house team at the end of the assignment.
