In March, ICE started a new internship program. Following an interview process, ten students from the Faculty of Naval Architecture and the Faculty of Automation, Computers, and Electrical Engineering at Galati University were selected to participate in this 3-month program. They have been assigned to departments relevant to their field of study, where they can put their recently gained theoretical knowledge into practice.
The new interns will each learn from an assigned engineer through project work while receiving practical training in design processes. The program’s schedule is flexible, and the interns will be paid for their time.
Petrica Necula, ICE Engineering Director, said:
“ICE’s program aims to offer valuable on-the-job learning opportunities to students while also building a talent pipeline for potential future ICE employees. Most students from our last year’s program are now full-time ICE employees.”
