Design & Engineering
ICE provides essentially all design and engineering services involved in creating the technical documentation needed for construction of ships and offshore structures, including:
- conceptual and preliminary design,
- basic design and development of Class drawings,
- development and evaluation of technical specifications for equipment,
- development of 3-D models for space management and clash checking,
- preparation of detail design for production,
- development of material take-off (MTO) lists, and
- preparation of production information, assistance with sea trials and post-sea trials reporting.
Whilst the core activities of ICE are focused on ships and floating offshore installations, we have the skills, expertise and accreditations necessary to undertake other complex structural, mechanical and electrical engineering tasks. These include detail design and engineering for offshore and onshore oil and gas development and production projects for the petrochemical and related industries as well as for stationary power generation plants.
ICE can provide skilled engineers and designers (in all disciplines) to augment the client’s own staff or undertake projects within its own dedicated facilities.
