With its head office on the Isle of Man, ICE is used to the annual TT motorbike races, which takes place during the first week of June. With a world-wide following, the TT races have been an annual event for more than a hundred years and is well-known among motorbike aficionados. The races take place on public roads and last year attracted 43,000 visitors and about 18,000 motorbikes to the Island, which has only 85,000 permanent residents.
Among many visitors, a couple of years ago ICE hosted a prominent Japanese shipowner, who visited the Island for the eleventh time to observe the TT races.
