ICE’s Romanian office recently had the pleasure of a visit from a delegation from Saipem’s offices in Milan. Saipem is a large publicly owned Italy-headquartered technology and engineering group with 34,000 employees in 60 countries. The Group also owns and operates mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs), offshore crane vessels and many other assets making Saipem one of the world’s leading offshore industry engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors.
ICE’s relationship with Saipem started nearly 20 years ago and has involved design for several FPSO projects, both new construction and conversion projects. ICE has also over the years had a constructive working relationship with Saipem’s Oslo-based subsidiary Moss Maritime, well known particularly for its expertise on gas ship technology.
ICE is delighted to have renewed its relationship with Saipem and we look forward to a growing long-term cooperation.
